What's good my Husky Bloggers? Well today I'd like to introduce you to the HOTTEST Hip-Hop producer overseas period. He's from London & the director of Husky Records Hip-Hop Music Division - London. This is J-L Beatz & YES were glad to have this brother join our team. J-L Beatz is ONLY one of three producers from London that Husky Records has chosen to work on various hip-hop artist on the Husky label, but before I go deep into this here's a little background information on my peoplez, J-L.
J-L (Jason Lovell) is 25 yrs young & is from South London. He's been making beats for 7 yrs. J-L started off making drum & bass tracks then about 3 yrs ago he switched to doing more hip-hop & soul beats. J-L, is into all types of music & he says he 'tries to portray that in his music. His main influences are some of hip-hop's greatest J-Dilla (R.I.P.), Pete Rock, Madlib, Preemo, & other producers who you may not have have heard before like Calibre & Photek.
J-L, is officially a Husky Records producer & every artist on the label wants a track produced by J-L, because his tracks are flame throwers. Clever One (a Husky Records Artist) has finished writing to one of J-L's track & we are going into the studio this week to cut Clever One's vocals yo...this gonna be a treat, on some hip-hop classic ish. Real talk we are ecstatic about J-L being a member of the Husky Records family, & trust me ONLY more hitz are coming your way as a result of that. We one do some classic material with J-L. Tha Bishop's writing to one of J-L's tracks as well so be on the lookout for that true hip-hop sound & flavorful tracks from my man J-L. This is from the whole Husky staff we welcome aboard One of The Hottest Hip-Hop Producers period, my brother from another mother, my man... J-L welcome to Husky Records! We are definitely besides ourselves about your arrival, now it's time to make the Doe-nutz. Once we finish recording some of J-L tracks & make song out of them we will be right back here to post the song so you can what all the excitement is all about.
